Writing for Publication
The purpose of this elective course is to produce a school newspaper. The goal is to publish an issue of the Trojan Timez each month. Students will work both independently and in collaboratively to interview, research, draft, collect photographs, and assemble the school paper. We will use a variety of software applications to produce the paper. Microsoft Word, Publisher, Pic Monkey, and student G-Mail accounts are a few of these software applications. In addition to the hard copy, students will produce an on-line version of each paper which will be assessable through this web page. Students will be responsible for editing their work as well as that of others. They will also be responsible for creating a consistent layout / design.
